Location: Kirkland, Washington
Site: Sloping site along Lake Washington with views to the Seattle Skyline and Olympic Mountain Range.
Program and Solution: A 3-story residence designed on a small lot with strict view corridors and a height restriction. The owner requested the use of Northwest materials on the exterior and interior with the use of clear cedar siding, Cor-ten and blackened steel, and Montana drystack stone.
