Contemporary yet timeless, this home allows for both privacy and transparency toward its Lake Washington panorama. The exterior is clad in a custom-quarried Spanish limestone never before used in the Pacific Northwest, and exposed structural steel and glass define interior spaces. The ultimate goal is to achieve LEED Gold/5-Star Built Green certification through such innovative methods as a living roof, solar water heating, and a water catchment system to capture rainwater in underground cisterns for irrigation use.
